Any idea when the certification for CS6 will available? And also the "... in the classroom" books for CS6?
I am planning to take the InDesign and perhaps the Illustrator exam but obviously not for CS5 now that CS6 is almost here.
Oh dear, that doesn't fit in with my planning...
I thought there's no point getting the certification for CS5 because it 'expires' soon after the new version is out. But I just re-read the rules and noticed that it says the certification is valid until 90 days after the new exam is published.
So based on 'history' it may still be worth trying the current one.
Anyway, thanks for your swift answer.

Really ? The ACTC I'm working for is unable to find a way to sign me up for recertifications (I passed CS3/CS4/CS5 plain full certifications for DW).
Is there a way I could help them finding the correct process to sign me up for a re-cert exam, please ?
Also, since talking about "CS6's almost out, but ACE is set to CS5 still", I just passed the ACE for ID CS5 yesterday. It would be such a relief to
know I'll have to pass a test in 6months, but only a re-cert".
If you click this link http://www.adobe.com/support/certification/exams/ you will see a list of recert exams available. Click the name Pearson VUE in the right hand column, this will take you to the testrac website http://www.testrac.com/adobe/ You can register to take them online from here.
hi... what do you think about this... http://www.premiumbeat.com/blog/adobe-premiere-pro-certification/
Hi Paul, If i understand correctly, you can take the Dreamweaver CS5 exam (proctored) and then when the CS6 exam comes out you can recertify within 90 days of it coming out online without having to take the proctored exam?
Also Is it necessary to first take the ACA exam before taking the ACE exam or can I just go right to the ACE exam?
Thanks in advance for any info you can provide.
Hi Paul, sorry for the delay !
This is a great news ! As I'm in the middle of getting certified with 2 other ACE exam during the summer, this is a relief !
(So far, I'm still ACE/ACI Dreamweaver CS5, and I recently passed the ID CS5 ACE Exam).
@AGBSTUDIOS : Adobe is raising criterias these days, for being ACE (believe me, the ACE for DW has quite improved in difficulty),
for being an ACI (need to provide evidence of courses given for a specific software) and for being an ACTC (mainly, here, they charge
the ACTC, check number of students you trained and so on). As far as I know, they may plan to charge trainers for them getting ACI
certified, maybe next year... so... (am I right about this ?)
@kostam72 : no need to pass the ACA before an ACE. It's not mandatory. And I got no clue about the difficulty of any ACA exam, nor
if they are a good way to prepare yourself for the corresponding ACE exam
That's correct about taking the recert (CS5 to CS6) online non-proctored or at least that's how it has been in the past, hopefully nothing will change.
As Luffy_D_Monkey says, no need to take an ACA before an ACE!
