convert pdf to jpg

Jun 13, 2012 7:06 AM

I am trying to add my logo artwork my printer emailed to me (pdf format) to my invoices in quickbooks.  It will not allow me to convert to a jpg format to do this.  Until recently I had an opption to "save as" but now that opption is gone.  How can I get that option back or convert to a jpg?

    Hi Joyce,

Adobe Reader doesn't have the ability to create PDF files.

Acrobat can create PDF files from JPGs via File > Create PDF from File

How did you originally purchase Acrobat?  Do you have an installation disc or did you purchase a download of the software from Adobe?

If you have an installation disc, just insert it into your drive and launch the installer.

If you purchased a download, you may been to re-download your software, unpack it, then launch the installer.

Acrobat was sold as part of a bundle with Dell computers for a while.  If you have a Dell computer, there may be an installation disc with the other materials you received upon purchase.

    Hi Joyce,

The least expensive option offered by Adobe for converting PDF to JPG is Acrobat X Standard.  You may want to see if you can track down your purchase order/receipt from your Dell purchase to see if Acrobat was in fact preinstalled.  If it was, it's probably worth giving them a call to see if they can assist you in reinstalling.
