Help! Unable to download Contribute

I need Contribute on my computer, and having major problems downloading (trial version to begin with).

 

I am able to go through most of download process, at installer phase (after I am asked for serial key or trial), a 3 page long error message appears with lots of 'WARNING: Payload cannot be installed due to dependent operation failure' and related messages. Tried 4 times. Check for any Windows/Adobe updates (installed any that were pending). Restarted computer twice. Nothing working.

 

I have a number of other programs on computer (Design Suite,etc.) and none have had problems downloading.

 

Thoughts? Ideas? I really don't want to go buy Contribute until I know that it is able to be installed on computer.
