This Installation is Damaged - CS6

We have 5 MacPros, all on 10.6.8, but 2 of them are slightly older with the NVIDIA GeForce 7300 GT graphics cards and it is these that get the damaged installation warnings. On the newer Macs with ATA Radeon HD5770 cards the installation is fine. Anyone else having the same problems, and is there a fix other than getting a new mac?

    What is the exact error message which you are receiving?  Could you provide a screenshot?  Are you installing from a DVD?

    Thank you for your response.  I would recommend you remove the applications by utilizing the uninstallers in Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers.  Prior to reinstalling you will also want to run the Adobe Support Advisor - http://www.adobe.com/support/loganalyzer/ to review your installation logs.  This should help you identify what is causing the difficulty on your system.

     

    Alternately you can review your installation logs manually by following the process listed at Troubleshoot with install logs | CS5, CS5.5, CS6 - http://helpx.adobe.com/creative-suite/kb/troubleshoot-install-logs-cs5 -cs5.html.

    I don't see anything actionable from what you have posted.  Please make sure to do a search for ERROR or FATAL in the installation log.  You can cross reference the results with Installation, launch log errors | CS5, CS5.5, CS6, CCM - http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/global/installation-launch-log-erro rs-creative.html.

    I am unsure Gravy17 if you can please choose the option in the Adobe Support Advisor to Package for Support.  If you can then respond back to this thread with your token number myself or another Adobe employee can review the installation log as well.
