Editing a title bar in the captured video

Is there a way to hide any section for ex. menu bar or a title bar of the captured video? I am capturing the video from a simulator which has different version numbers on the title bar. Except for the version number change, their is no change in the GUI of the simulator. Do I need to recapture it all over again or can i override the title bar or get ride of a specific portion of the captured video?

HI there

You should be able to capture just the segment of the title bar you need to change, then insert that on slides and overlay what you see. You might even choose to right-click and merge it into the background for a "permanent" fix.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the clarification. Will this overlay work in the video recorded using Full Motion recording? As we keep scrolling up and down within the GUI while capturing the video, will the permanent merge work?

In that case, you will likely need to re-record.

Full motion recording is seldom desired and this issue alone is one of the large reasons why!
