I had a problem with Folio Builder panel when change ID password. I re instal both plugin again( FP and FProdTool), but this did not help. After reading the forum about solving the problem >
1) Quit InDesign and any other CS apps
2) Use the Activity Monitor to quit the CS5ServiceManager or CS5.5Service Manager
3) Next delete this file based on version:
/Users/lnegi/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
/Users/lnegi/Library/Application Support/Adobe/CS5.5ServiceManager/preference/csxs2.pref
4) Then remove this item from the Keychain Access based on version:
Adobe-CS-5-renga
Adobe-CS-5.5-renga
To remove from the keychain:

Hi There,
When you un and re-installed the plugins, did you delete the original plugin file from the inDesign folder in your applications folder?
on mac -
Applications > InDesign > Plugins > Graphics > DigitalPublsihing.IndesignPlugin
Trash that file, then reinstall - sometimes when you try to uninstall it's not properly deleted as the extension manager is one massive pile of crap.
Let us know how you get on!

the Folio Builder panel is found, but the problem remains .. displayed completely blank panel with no buttons and menus! Unfortunately, I can not reinstall IDesign!.. What should I do?!
.. I did the right thing, that the new DigitalPublsihing.IndesignPlugin file is moved to a folder ID plugins?
Try this:
1. Uninstall Folio Builder Panel and Folio producer Tools ( Seems you might have already followed this step). Use Spotlight to serach for Uninstall Folio builder Panel and Uninstall Folio producer Tools and then uninstall repectively.
2. Uninstall Adobe Air.
3. Restart your Machine.
4. Reinstall Adobe Air from get.adobe.com/air
5. Reinstall Folio Builder Panel and Folio Producer Tools.
i'm disappoint
...after the second day, I can not work with my DPS.. afte trying this:

HEEEEELPPPP!!!!
Yeah, I gave you that advice beacuse when I was having similar troubles with the plugins I did a clean install (tried to) using the extension manager only to find the DigitalPublishing.InDesignPlugin was still lingering around in my application documents.
So I deleted it - and Reinstalled the tools - And they worked, so your machine must have reminance somewhere of the toolset / or you're doing something wrong.
They're very unstable tools I have found, and all I can suggest now is doing a fresh install of inDesign, something has probably been lost/corrupted.
Good Luck

This is the same thing in Bold as deleting the Indesign Plugin.
I dont understand one thing! ... I deleted original Digital Publishing.InDesignPluginthe file from IDesign Plugins, then delete it from Extension Manager, reinstal both FolioBuildPanel and FolioProdTools. but after that i see again in Extension Manager > Digital Publishing.InDesignPlugin path: Macintosh HD:Applications:cs55:Adobe InDesign CS5.5:Plug-Ins:Graphics:Digital Publishing.InDesignPlugin but the plugin is not there( deleted), it is located in a new instal folder!
When your DPS tools aren't working properly, it's no longer a good idea to remove plugins either manually or using the Extension Manager. When you do that, troubleshooting techniques such as uninstall/reinstall and removing preferences no longer work. I forwarded this thread to an Adobe Technical Support representative to see if he knows how to resolve this issue. Sorry you're experiencing difficulties.
