Thank you in advance for your help.

I am working with a couple colleagues to create an app using the Digital Publishing Suite (DPS) plug-in to InDesign. The part that is causing problems is the the Viewer Builder. We have gone through create all the files and then reach the final step we get a "signing failure." We tried recreating the files etc. to troubleshoot what aspect may have gone awry, but no luck so far.

In reviewing the forum, I have seen that others have encountered similar issues, but the resolutions were not posted.

The list of things that may be of issue, that I have seen so far, to rule out are:

  1. Is there a certain OS required?

  2. Could it be that purchaser of the software is associated with the ID associated with the account and the desinger needs to login as them?
  3. Since we changed from ad hoc to “public” does this affect the "public keychain?”
  4. Is the custom URL still a problem

If you get this error message when you try to download your build from Viewer Builder, then you would need to check your certificates. Try verifying the P12 Certificate password and if necessary, remake and change the mobile provisioning files then rebuild.
