I accidentally did a "sync settings" when I had my entire library selected. I would have done an "undo" had I realized what I did before shutting down the program. Is there a way to avoid going through 8000+ images and clicking the history back a step one by one besides the doing a mass "reset?" your help is greatly appreciated.
ScrewAutoSync plugin:

Includes requisite sqlite apps for both Windows+Mac - plug n' play...
*** Uh-oh: The script being used will only roll back one step - if executed again, it will go back to where it was before - i.e. it toggles between top and 2nd from top, but won't let you keep undoing... - good enough if you made exactly one errant adjustment, otherwise useless, until fixed.

Thanks elgarev, but credit where credit is due: Dorin developed the complex SQL, I just wrapped it in a plugin.
I'm hoping to enhance it to be able to roll back more than one adjustment, if I can figure out the requisite SQL code.
UPDATE: Dorin provided the requisite SQL for undoing multiple steps, which I folded into v1.1:
