I've tried all the fixes I could find.

Same issue - Windows7 x64 - After getting notification of the update went to 11.3 and it completely stopped for me in Firefox 13.  I did also get notifications about the Real Player plugin - but even disabled Flash would not work.

I would get a white screen, flash of video then white - no audio - nothing.

Worked fine in IE9 and Chrome.

Tried all the suggestions for troubleshooting - nothing.  Went back to 11.2.202.235 and it's working fine in Firefox.  Turning off updates.

I branched this into a new discussion so that we can talk about it without all of the other noise.

Thanks for listing your plug-ins.  I really need all of the information from about:support and about:plugins to get a complete view of what might be going on.  RealPlayer for instance, shows up in Extensions -- which is only visible from about:support.  There may be other Extensions that cause problems that we haven't tracked down yet, which is why I'm trying to collect infromation from folks.

To do this, simply type about:support in the Address Bar in Firefox, and hit Enter.  Click the Copy All To Clipboard button, then just paste into a forum response.  The plug-in info is probably sufficient -- I don't see anything crazy here.

If this is RealPlayer Browser Record, disabling the plug-in probably isn't enough.  Mozilla attempted to block it as a fix, but it only seems to have fixed a fraction of the people seeing the problem.  Last time I checked, they were investigating whether or not they could make additional blocks to mitigate this.

In the meantime, you'll need to do all of the following if the issue is RealPlayer:

    Launch RealPlayer

Click the RealPlayer icon in the upper left corner of the window and choose Preferences.

Choose Download & Recording from the left hand panel

Uncheck "Enable Web Download & Recording for these installed browsers"

    Click OK and close RealPlayer

    Restart Firefox

Anyway, if that doesn't work, we made a bunch of other changes to Flash Player 11.3, including extending support for Hardware Acceleration to older video cards.

Disabling hardware acceleration would be a good, quick sanity check there.

You can find the instructions in the troubleshooting steps here:

I'm not seeing RealPlayer. I am also use FireFox 6.0.2. I'm not interested in updating due to some of the changes Mozilla has made recently.

Cool, I wsa initially suspicious of Arcsoft Video Downloader, but it doesn't work in current Firefox versions, so I'm guessing that's not it.

Have you tried disabling Hardware Acceleration?  Instructions are included in this troubleshooting guide.  It would be a good, quick sanity check and would narrow things down quite a bit.

Hi, I'm experiencing exactly the same problem, after the latest Flash Player update it stopped working on Firefox, Opera and IE are working fine.

HTML5 Videos are working perfectly.

Just a big white space where nothing happens. The taskmanager shows two instances of the flash-player plugin with different values of memory usage, one with 33 MB and one with 7 MB.

Mysteriously it seems to be that this problem appears on only a few computers. It's nearly impossible to find something about this problem over the common search engines, only old hits that go back up to 2005.

I've already tried some things like completely reinstalling Firefox and the Flash Player. Nothing changed.

Disabling the hardware acceleration also had no effect.

This is my machine: http://www.sysprofile.de/id144734

Everything should be up to date.

I can view the HTML 5 video, but not the non-HTML 5. I can't follow the instructions for disabling the Hardware Acceleration, the Flash Player logo that you're told to right-click on in the instructions simply isn't there.
