Importing to Story

Jun 14, 2012 3:33 PM

I've just started using Adobe Story - and so far I really like it (just not the pricing plan for the + version).

Can anyone suggest the best format for importing screenplays from other programmes with the correct formatting? So far I've only tried as a .pdf but it was all over the place and would take quite a while to manually go through and correct. Is there a better option? (I don't have Final Draft so I can't try that). I'm using the free version.

I have noticed what appears to be a bug - although may be to do with my browser/PC in general (which does sometimes have problems with flash). When I try and work in full screen mode I can't actually type in the script window...so not much use. Has anyone else had this problem?

Also - can anyone tell me whether you can get Story Plus in Adobe's Creative Suite? I gather from the website that you can't, but I've seen people saying otherwise so just thought I'd check.

Thanks.

I think importing a text script (.txt) will give you the most expected result.

In full screen mode you can not type its a security restriction of flash on browsers. Except "Esc" no other key input is taken.

    Thanks
