Trouble with Mac 8.1.2 update for Acrobat Pro

I have downloaded the Macintosh English Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.2 update but it will not allow me to select my Adobe Acrobat Pro 8.1.1 application for updating. Any suggestions? I am running Mac OS 10.7.4 Thank you.
