I installed Contribute CS5 because I needed to setup a client to use Contribute on their website. NOW ALL of my CC apps won't launch Did a restore point (Windows Vista) back to a point before I installed Contribute CS5 to see if that would fix the problem, No Go. Now not only do none of my CC apps work including the AAM but my version of Contribute CS3 is now broken. Seriously how am I supposed to make a living with this nonsense, I now have no apps to get my work done! I've been looking desperately thru this forum and have found several irelevant suggestions to similar problems that haven't helped anyone. It's like going to a witch doctors convention... Tried to get Adobe on the phone with absolutly no luck, keep getting the message that due to an unusually high call volume with CS6 and CC I need to schedual a call back. When asked to enter my phone number for a call back ADOBE tells me my phone nummber is invalid!!! SERIOUSLY!!! I need help with this problem ASAP.
Based on your description I wondered if this is what happened?

I would suggest uninstalling and reinstalling your CS6 products. The Cleaner Tool can be used if you are having difficulties uninstalling.

Thanks David-
I actually did finally get tech support and they walked me thru the process you mentioned and it did resolve the problem. One thing they did have me do that may be helpful to others is they had me install Contribute CS 5 FIRST and then all the CS6 apps after it. Which is the reverse of what I initially did. NOW, this is only CS5 Contribute, I don't run any other CS5 apps. In my case I have to have Contribute because CMS is part of the website packages I sell and I have to be able to set clients up with Contribute and it has to be CS5 Contribute since that’s what’s sold currently be Adobe. Here's the only remaining issue, I hope Adobe addresses soon. All my CS6 apps work fine UNTIL I launch CS5 Contribute, just as specified in the links you've provided, then when I go to launch a CS6 app I get a trial mode notice and have to reactivate the product. After reactivating everything is fine. So a bit of a hassle but doable. Hope this helps.
