Hi there,
I'm trying to create some content buttons for a video. These buttons should control the video. When clicked on a button, the video should jump to that specific poinmt/chapter in the video. I added a video and some buttons. In the video I added chapterpoints. I defined an action for the button: when clicked play the video starting from chapter X (a chapterpoint). When previewing from the Buttons windows, the button works just fine, the video jumps to that chapterpoint. But when previewing it in the Overlay Creator/Folio Builder or on my Ipad, the button just doesn't work.
Is it me? Am I doing something wrong or am I forgetting something? Or is it Apple Ios, that disables my buttons ?? If so, is there some other way to do what I want to do?
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Bob,
Thanks for your suggestion ! Yes, I already thought of that. But it would be much nicer to have control buttons and just one big video. But again, if it can't be done, it can't be done. And I will probably have to split the video if I want someone to be able to jump to the next chapter.
Now I am looking into the possibilities to use HTML5 to play the video, but I'm still trying to find out if HTML5 supports some kind of control buttons. If it does, the next step would be to try to insert HTML5 into my project (Overlay creator) and see if my Ipad can play this. I haven't got a clue, don't know anything about HTML5. But I'm ready to find out ... ;-)

Hi Bob,
and again thanks for your help! You're right, obviously..... Why use InDesign when going down that road....
Another thought just popped into my brains.... is it possible to link videos together. I mean when the first one has finished, the next one automatically starts playing. Kinda like the animation possibility, but with videos..... I am almost sure this is not possible, but I'd prefer a professional to tell me the bad news.....
