I just come across the new PDF forms and the possibility to add them directly from ID.
Is it possible to create a PDF with several forms and make them dinamically interactive?
For instance, I have a "Quantity" field for a product that costs $5.00 and I need that when the user insert a value in this form I automatically get the sum (5 x $5.00 = $25.00) and display the refreshed sum in the PDF document.
Hope you understand what I need...
Unfortunately, you have to use Acrobat to add functionality like that to form fields.
There is no way to do it directly in InDesign, even through scripting.
Hope that helps.
If you are using indesign cs6, its very easy. all you need to do is add your textbox/combo box etc to the sample button library and access them thro script and position them according to your choice. You can rename them as per your choice (like combo1, combo2, combo3 etc), where 1,2,3 are auto generated. Let me know what you require
As I wrote in the post I need to create an interactive PDF document from InDesign with dinamic forms (no problem with this...) and I need them to update data within the PDF when a user change their value...
