Hello everyone. I just created my first blu ray DVD and the everything is great and works as it should but the resolution of the menus are horrible. My project is full HD at 1920 x 1080. The menu background and buttons are actually blurry! I use Windows 7 by the way. Any ideas on what I did wrong? Are there special HD menus that I should have selected from?
Thanks for any help.

Those HD logos are not THAT large.
Personally, I think that it would be great if PrE would ONLY show HD Menu Sets, when one has an HD Project, but that would need to be toggled ON/OFF, as some will do an HD Project, then down-rez it to SD for authoring a DVD.
Good luck, and happy editing,
Hun
OK.. guess what? I picked an HD menu this time confident that I just messed up the first go around and I burn my blu ray disc, second one now, and my menus are a little bit better but are still BAD! I then did a bit of research on the web and learn that I'm not the only one with this problem and apparently this has been a problem with PE7,8,9 and now 10! Have a look at this thread: http://www.elementsvillage.com/forums/showthread.php?t=71706
My video is excellent but my menus are blurry.
Wow.... not good. Can anyone point me to a work around or a fix to this problem? Again, I'm using Windows 7 64 bit. The menu that I used was the Pan and Zoom under Slideshows, I changed the background image to a 1920 x 1080 image, I added music, and I changed the color, siz and location of some of the text.
I guess my next test is to use a stock HD menu with no changes and see if I get an HD menu but every time a run a "Test" I use up a blank blu ray disc. This could get expensive.
Again, any help would be appreciated.

Bob,
Are you seeing the degradation in the original Text in that Menu Set, or with the altered Text.
If the latter, then this ARTICLE might be helpful, for adding Text to a Menu, or Title.
Good luck,
