Beware that CS2 does not run as well on an Intel Mac as it would natively on the originally intended PPC Mac.

There are multiple versions there. If you need English, try "Photoshop_CS2_tryout.dmg"

I believe the tryout version can turn to the full version with your serial #.

got the English trial version

do I have to wait till the 30 days are up

before I can put my serial # in to make it legal ?

No, you don't have to wait at all. As a matter of fact, there is no reason at all to wait.

Do it right away, that way you can update it to version 9.0.2. There's no reason you should live with all the bugs in version 9.0.0, many of which were fixed in versions 9.0.1 and 9.0.2.

just has a button that says " buy at store "

In the Help menu of Photoshop CS2 you should see two items labeled "Registration…" and "Activate…". They are grayed out in the screen shot below because that particular copy of CS2 is already registered and activated.

In the trial version, those menu items should be available to you.
