Do NOT open every hyperlink in an internet browser.

Jun 13, 2012 1:08 AM

So I created a PDF document which contains hyperlinks. Some hyperlinks direct to a folder on the network, some direct to a different PDF file and some direct to an application file.

All of the hyperlinks are being opened in an internet browser. I actually do not want any of them to be opened in a browser.

I want the folder links to be opened in Windows Explorer, the PDF file links to open in Acrobat Reader and the application links to be opened by the appropriate application.

I there any way to do this?

There are two types of remote link action - "go to URL" and "open a file". You need to use the correct one when creating the links.
