Digital Editions recognises my e-reader but the book doesn't show up on the e-reader

I have downloaded Digital Editions and connected my ii-Think e-reader. Digital Editions has recognised my e-reader, authorised it and created a bookshelf. I can copy a book from "All Items" to the bookshelf and it appears there, but it doesn't appear on my e-reader. What am I missing?

The ereader isn't supported by Digital Editions (Click
HERE<http://blogs.adobe.com/digitalpublishing/supported-devices> for
a list of those that are). Apparently, a handshake can occur, which
explains why it appears in the DE bookshelf, but transferring won't work.
