Lightroom 4 Student Version

Jun 17, 2012 8:47 PM

I have 2 questions:

I am interested in buying Lightroom 4 - the student version. I am wondering if this version is the same as the regular/full version?

Also, can this program be put on 2 computers? I am thinking of buying a new computer in the next year and I am wondering if I will be able to put the program on there if i do so....?

Thanks!

Riann

Yes, the student and regular versions are the same just the EULA (End User License Agreement) is different. You can put it on two computers at once as long as only one copy is being used at any one time.

It simply means that Lightroom cannot be running and in the use on both computers at the same time. The license allows you to use one computer or the other at any given time. In other words, you cannot be using Lightroom on one computer, and at the same time another person using Lightroom on the other computer. That is not allowed in the license agreement.
