In Library, how do I make the tool bar come back?
(It disappeared on me unexpectedly after I typed something.)
(In case I'm not calling it the right thing, by Tool Bar I mean the place under the photos which contains such controls as: Grid View, single view, the paint can, etc. )
In the (unlikely) event I ever intentionally want to make it go away again: how is that done?
Thanks. That helped, sort of.
Oddly enough, when I went back to LR, the toolbar was already restored. It had returned on it's own due to some perhaps incomprehensible series of events.
However, the Painter is not there and it's not showing as available to place there on the arrow drop down on the right that ostensibly is supposed to show/hide whatever controls are desired on the toolbar.
So where is the Painter now? How do I make it come back? And why is it not there in the first place?
Hi. I found the painter. It was in the tool bar. But LR had inexplicably shifted me to the Develop Module. LR does a lot of things without my express permission or intention. When I went back to Library, painter was there. Thanks.

If it switched to Develop, perhaps you hit the D key? Or clicked the little +/- icon in the corner of a thumbnail.
