Cannot paste object and text at the same time

If I copy object and text at the same time, it will only paste the text and the object is disappear, but it's no problem if I copy them separately. Besides, If I copy multiple text objects, they will be combined to 1 text object and the font will be changed when I paste.

    What exactly do you copy from where and where do you paste it? Which version of Illustrator? Which OS? Which clipboard tools in your OS? Which plugins in Illustrator?

    I use Illustrator CS5.5 in win7, do copy and paste within ai files

    Its a conflict with the software you have installed that creates multiple clipboards. Its aknown issue from another thread.

     

    Remove that software and life will be fine.

    Thank you so much! it's Skype click to call function makes conflict, just removed it and problem solved.
