Is there a way to make DW place the tag closing bracket when you select the tag from the popup list? Say I want <dd>. I start typing, then I select <>dd in the list, but DW puts in <dd not <dd>, and I want <dd>. See my screen shot.

Yes. Edit > Preferences > Code Hints.
Close tags: after typing the open tag's >

That's different thsn what I want. I want <dd> when I type <dd and select <>dd from the list. That seting gives me <dd></dd> when I type <dd>.
