Can I sell my edu version, after upgrade?

Hi there,

I have the Creative Suite CS3 Design Premium Education Version (NOT student version). When I upgrade my CS3 to the current CS6, the education license gets also upgraded to a commercial license right? When I did this upgrade, can I sell the software (the CS3 Edu + CS6 Upgrade together), i.e. on ebay and transfer the "new" commercial license of the CS6 to the buyer? Thanks in advance.

Best regards.

I don't think you can sell a license of educational software (teacher, student, any form) but to be sure you should contact the adobe education store directly to confirm.  If you sell your standard license I have read on these forums that you must give up certain rights such as not being able to purchase adobe software in the future.  But that I am not so sure about.  Once again, contact Adobe Customer Service for the standard license questions if you cannot locate the EULA

You cannot under any circumstance transfer any academic version of Adobe software.

That is a totally different situation since it’s no longer an academic license. The upgrade license replaces the original so yes, in that case it can be transferred.
