When I click the download button for the trial of Adobe Acrobat Pro it does absolutely nothing. There isnt even a pop up box at the bottom asking me to grant access. I have a Toshiba Satelite 64bit running Windows 7. What can I do?
1. If you're not signed in to Adobe.com, when you click the Download button, you're prompted to sign in.
2. After you sign in, a new window will pop up that downloads the installer.
It could be that your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, FireFox) are blocking popups and are not allowing the new window. Check and see if something is blocking it.
Could you perhaps try using another browser? I feel that this might be due to some issue with the browser.
If that does not work then:
Could you also check if there is something in your anti-virus that could be blocking the download? Or a firewall setting that blocks downloads?
Found a solution! i am using IE9 and i clicked on 'Page' on the right side
of my internet pane and turned on the 'Compatibility View' and i had to
turn my pop up blocker off also. Hope this helps anyone else with this
