PDF-Printer takes image for text

Hello everybody!

I want to create a pdf-file with Acrobat X Standard 10.1.3 from a QuarkXPress 5.01-File.
(Windows Vista Home Premium SP2)

Everything is fine until words appear in an image: Acrobat seems to try to recognize the letters and then changes them to courier new or something similar, I don't know.

Please see here how the page looks like when I print it:

And now see what Acrobat does to the image:
http://www.effenberg.de/seite-4.pdf

On the right side there is normal text. But on the left side is just a picture of text.

How can I create a pdf-File that looks like the printed version?

Regards,
Harry

Are you using Acrobat to create the PDF or Quark Express' PDF capability?
