The new LR4.1 download has turned my photos a pinkish hue, why

After instaling LR4.1 my photos turned a pinkish hue, on uninstaling they returned to their original colour.  They were taken with a Canon 600D 18-55mm IS lens. I am a hobbyist photographer and wonder if I can ignore this update without compromising future updates too.  I don't like what it has done to my photos.  The update refers to chromatic aberation correction, which it appears my photos don't need.

    What are you viewing the photos in, when you're seeing the pinkish hue?

     

    And when you've uninstalled 4.1, what are you viewing the photos in, without the pinkish hue?

     

    And finally, raw or JPEG files?

    Hi,

     

    I have exactly same problem. After instaling LR4.1 all of my photos are pink. See attached file. I tried to uninstal and instal LR and nothing happened. Could you please help?

    Can you switch to the Develop module and do a slightly bigger screenshot please?  I want to see the contents of the Basic panel and the Camera Calibration panel initially.

    Perfect.

     

    Look at the white balance setting.  Way off the charts.

     

    Now press Reset (bottom right) - does that fix it?

     

    If not, hold down shift and the Reset button will change to Reset (Adobe).  Does that fix it?

     

    Report back on that and we can go from there.

    Well, first option did not work and second did. However do i need to do that with every single picture? Because when I imported the pictures, everyone was like this. I there possibilite to reset them all?

    Great, so that means that you've accidentally changed your default settings somewhere along the line.

     

    Now go to Develop menu > Set Default Settings and press the Restore Adobe Default Settings button.  That will fix the pink defaults.

     

    Then switch to the Grid view and select all of the pink pictures, and press the Reset button in the Quick Develop panel or in the right-click menu.
