D800E NEF files

I have Photoshop CS5 and Lightroom 3.6, Camera Raw 6. I have just tried for the first time to import NEF files from my Nikon D800E, and lightroom does not recognise the files nor can it convert them to DNG. Is an update available? When I tried the response is that my programmes are up to date.

    The Lightroom upgrade is a paid upgrade to version 4.1.  3.6 is the last version of Lightroom 3.  If you don't want to upgrade then you can download the DNG converter version 7.1, and convert your raw files to digital negative files.
