iphone folio question

Hi Guys

I have a iPad folio (it's a single isssue app for now) so I wanted to create an iPahone version too.

Just downloaded the v20 tools, then built my iphone rendition, named the same as the ipad. I now have 2 renditions in folio builder one 1024x768 the other 960x640, but when I log into ACV on the iphone there is nothing there. I can't image it's the fact that the ipad rendition is v19, Any ideas what I'm missing?

    Is it an iPhone 3G or iPhone 4/4S? 960x640 folios won't show up on the iPhone 3G.

     

    It's also possible that your iPhone folio has a problem such as mixed orientation articles that prevent it from showing up in the library. Select the iPhone folio in the Folio Builder panel and preview it on the desktop to see if it passes preflight.

    Thanks Bob.

    Havent needed to use the desktop pre-flight for so long, didn't think to use it! So indeed, it found out some basic errors that I've fixed or got round, for now. One error it did through up, was on my first article, (which is html) and it said could not find indesign file?

    There isnt any issue with html of the iPhone is there?

    No, HTML articles work fine on iPhone viewers. If you have a single-orientation folio, you'll want to make sure the HTML file has an _v or _h suffix, such as index_v.html. If that's not the issue, you might want to delete and re-import the HTML article.

    Cheers Bob, I'll re-import a bit later, I'm sure it's just a minor glitch. Looking good on the iphone! great to see. All I really need now is single issue versions, then I'll be happy.
