Problem playing swf movies with Flash Media Playback

I am trying to use your Flash Media Playback configurator to play SWF movies created in Flash CS4.  The movies play back okay (with a few glitches) but the control bar does not function properly (the scrub bar is there but it is empty, there's no indicator of elapsed time, and there are no start and stop controls).  The movie loops even if I set the configuration to no loop.  If I set a "poster" file, it does not disappear when the movie starts; the movie plays behind it.  Do you know what the problem is and how to fix it?
