My flash player will not play the video when minimized. I have to enlarge to full screen to see video. Can you help?
OS: Windows 7 64-bit MSIE
I'm having similar problems
Got a flag afew days ago to update existing version of Flash Player. Program would not update.
Removed existing version of FP and installed Adobe Flash Player 11.3.300.257 (bundled with Google Chrome)from Adobe web-page. Program appeared to install correctly, but refuses to execute. Have now repeated this procedure 10-12 times without success.
My main problem is that I can no longer use BBC iPlayer to catch up on missed TV and radio, especially regional radio, nor run video clips from web pages. I suspect this problem also affects YouTube, though I have not tested this yet.
Would love to know why this piece of software let loose upon us is causing so much mayhem. I'm not a 'techie' so find it invariably difficult to follow through with bug-fixes and ''work arounds'
Just adding my comment as 'grist to the mill' but will continue to read all posters' comments.
Thanks for your offer of help.
Some YouTube pages that I usually watch (mostly English, Irish and Scottish folk music) appear to be affected. 70% are OK, but a few that I would expect to work are showing: "This video is not available at the present time." I'm not clever enough to no know why this might be, but given my general ineptitude with matters technical am resigned to letting others + Adobe to sort matters out. I have no time to tinker
with my PC at the moment, and in fact am suffering from asthme at the moment and feeling rather unwell..
I reported a bug 2 weeks ago but haven't heard anything. I've found a lot of conent on the BBC websiter including the Radio Player and some iPlayer streams won't play on W7 64-bit with IE9. I hadn't noticed a problem until I upgraded to 11.3.257.300. I'm now running 11.2 which has sort of fixed iplayer and radio player, sometimes I need to stop/start it a number of times and a number of videos on the BBC Sport site won't play.
