I just purchased and installed the new CS6 suite, after uninstalling all adobe products and running the CS sweeper script. The presets for SpeedGrade aren't showing up (as they did in my beta version). I am looking for them in the (Documents/Adobe/SpeedGrade/6.0/settings/looks) folder which is correct I believe? Any thoughts?
thanks,
jm
Hi J,
Did you install speedgrad on a drive other than the system drive? If so, you'll need to remap where the looks can be found. Click on the "look" tab, in each of the tabs below the color wheels you'll need to select "..." then select the location on where speedgrade is installed..
Hope it helps
I'm having a similar problem except that I had all the look panels with all the installed options visible and working, however I inadvertantly closed them, when I try to re add the look panels using the "..." and navigate to the applications folder the drop down arrows are no longer visible and I can't navigate into the app to link to the look examples folder, any suggestions what I'm doing wrong? Mac 10.7.3
I just downloaded via Creative Cloud and have the same issue as BenK1934. I click the "add page" icon, scroll to "Applications", click arrow hoping to open submenu, but arrow dissapears and no submenu, therefore cannot scroll to SpeedGrade to add Look Examples. Running on Mac 10.7.5. Seems to be a bug here...
For anyone interested in a general overview of how to work with the SpeedGrade Look presets, we just posted this on our blog: http://adobe.ly/V4C1yh
I now see where the confusion lies. There are two "Applications" folders to choose from. One is found under the "Home" menu, which is an empty folder and therefore disappears, and the other is under the "Macintosh HD" menu and will allow you to navigate through to the "Look Examples" folder.
