Scrollable Content article gets [Error: Invalid asset location]

Jun 20, 2012 12:55 PM

I'm trying to create a wide scrollable content product timeline.

The Content  on the "Scrollable Content" layer is 3024x600

Content is grouped text and image boxes

Container frame on Layer 1 is 975x600

Both Content and Containerhave the same name and are aligned along the left edge

When I update the folio I get the following error:

Content Generation Error

[Error: Invalid asset location]

Trying to preview in the desktop viewer gets the same error.

Looking at the links tab, there are no missing or flagged files, and all the files exist within the article's links folder.

What am I missing here?

That is a deprecated method for scrolling content.

Use the current tools and the scrollable content overlay creator.

what is in the viewer panel info box? is the version number ending on .12?

you might be one of the unhappy ones who get stuck on version 12 somehow.

    have seen this before.

looks like you are okay on the folio builder panel (first line)

but you are still on version 18 of the producer tools. make sure to have

the latest version of the folio producer tools (separate installer)

    installed. maybe uninstall previous version.

when you insdtall the newest tools (v21) you can create a folio in

version20 that is compatible with the current version of the viewer in the

    app store

The scrollable content will be rasterized even if you use PDF.
