Error in certified pdf regarding AI file

I'm outputting a poster on 80 x 100 cm with only 2 ai-files.

One of them is a straightforward logo, the other is an illustration

using gradients and blurs. The illustration is used on around 326%.

With preflight in Enfocus Pitstop I get an error saying some areas

have a resolution of around 144 dpi. But we're talking vector here.

Or do the same rules apply for pixel as soon as I scale above 108%?

I have used the illustration on other sizes without any problems.

Blurs are pixel-based effects. It's probably not a problem, but you could increase the effects resolution in Illustrator if you are worried.

Thanks Peter, I had that pref setting already set to 300dpi but Pitstop Pro is complaining some areas are below 224dpi. I scaled the illustration up in AI (incluiding grads etc.) but is still gives me that error. Should I crank the prefs up to 600 dpi?

Got it sorted! I raised the setting to 315 dpi. That was the maximum setting
I could give in conjunction with the size of the illustration. Exported as pdf
through ID, certified it with Pitstop Pro and it came out without any errors.
