adobe elements

when starting adobe, I had a box that said there was an update to inspiration elements, but I was to uninstall inspritation in my control panel first, which I did.  When I went to install update to adobe inspiration, it wouldn't intall.

 

I now don't have inspiration elements with this software.

    If you go to the control panel again can you not see the following program under the Add/Remove programs list.

     

    Adobe Photoshop.com Inspiration Browser.

    Use the Control Panel's Programs and Features to also uninstall Adobe AIR.

    Why would I un-install Adobe Air?  I've already un-installed Adobe Inspiration and it's gone.  I might as well un-install the total program and re-install from the dvd.  I'm I right?

    Because the Inspiration Browser is an Adobe AIR application.  The presence of Adobe AIR can cause the installation of the IB to fail.
