New lap top

I bought a laptop from a computer store and i had photo shop elements 3.0 already installed on it.  I now have a new lap top and want to transfer it over to my new lap top and it doesn't seem to be working what can i do? i don't want ot have to rebuy photoshop elements just because i got a new lapt top that is a bit redonkuluse lol.

    If the PSE3 was bundled as an OEM installation, it's only valid for the original computer.  You cannot transfer it.

    how do i know it was an oem instalation i need this program to work i got the 1st computer for that program alone will adobe do anything abut this to help me?

    If it was pre-installed on your old computer, and you didn't receive installation disks for PSE3, then it was an OEM bundle.

    that brings me here lol but thats ok thank you so much for your help i am going to try and call them tomorrow since that seems to be the only way i can't find an email any where
