can't open/view pdf

Running windows 7 home...have installed 10.1.3 and can't open/read pdf docs

    Sorry I do not understand "can't" - what exactly happens when you try?

    When I try to open/view a PDF from email or ohter sites, it tries to open but just stays as a back lit blank screen...no error message, nada, zip, nuthin!

    So Adobe Reader actually opens, but shows the document just black, or does your entire monitor go black?

     

    Both could potentially indicate a graphic driver problem; what is your display adapter, device driver version & date?
