Captivate v5.5

I have a slide with audio. The slide is a screen shot of our website.

Now I need to update the slide but do not need to make any changes to the audio.

Is there a "simply" way to "copy/paste" the audio from the old slide and attach it to the new slide  with no loss of audio quality ?

Hi Noel

You should be able to locate the audio file in the library. Create the new slide and associate the desired audio clip from the library.

Hi Rick,

Thanks for the helpful reply.

Just to be sure. After locating the audio file in the library of the old slide - by "associate the desired audio clip" - can I read this as "drag and drop" the audio file from the library onto the new slide ?

Just drag the audio clip fom thr Library onto the slide in the film strip. This will add the audio to the slide . If you drag the clip an drop it onto the slide in the edit window you need to be careful that you don't drop it on top of an object, or the audio may be attached to that object instead of the slide.
