Serial Number Issues

I just purchased an update for CS5.5 to CS6 and installed it on my desktop with no problem.  Now, installing it on my laptop, it is telling me that the serial number is invalid.  Any thoughts?

    I have the production suite and I am upgrading the whole suite from 5.5 to 6.  I am working on a Mac 10.7.4
