Downloading problems

I just recently purchased a rebuilt tower and am trying to download a trial version of photoshop.  I go through all the steps and receive the logo in my program menu but when I click to open nothing happens.  Do I need something else installed to open?  I have gone through through all the steps inculding application manager.

    What are the specs of your computer? Could you check it against the minimun system requirements, so that we can eliminate that front?
