Why am I not seeing old versions of Firefox in BrowserLab? All I see is FireFox version 11 for Mac OS and Windows.
Thanks,
Doug
To avoid having a huge number of browser servers we have a general rule that we'll only have the latest version of any browser and perhaps one older version as well. (And yes, we're aware that we're currently behind on some browser versions).
Now that Firefox is updating major versions quickly and automatically in a similar fashion to Chrome, is there some reason why you need to test with older versions of it, and if so, which versions do you need to see?
Thanks,
Mark
Hi Mark,
Reason I asked is because I recently saw a trouble ticket from a customer who could not place an order because his browser froze during the checkout process. Turns out he is still using Firefox 3.6 and learnng this, I became curious so I took a look at an analytics report and fournd quite few people out there are still using old browsers. So this made me wonder what they are seeing and thus I found BrowserLab. In any case, thanks for the quick reply. It's not a huge issue but I did see some old posts in this forum mentioning rather old versions of various browsers so I was mainly wondering why they were not showing up.
Cheers,
Doug
