It's definitely coming but all Adobe will say is sometime in 2012.

Many people are frustrated by the inexplicable delay.

Many have downloaded the 30 day free Trial version hoping that LR will appear in the Cloud before their Trial expires.

Hasn't happened yet which leaves many people unable to use Lightroom since you cannot extend the Trial.

I noticed that in the creative cloud apps list it is no longer included. It use to say coming soon.  I take it this either means that in a day or two it will be included or that they have decided not to include it the creative cloud. If it is the later I want my money back. I hope that is not the case.

It's still listed on the Adobe website as Coming Soon

Thanks John. That is reassuring. I was talking about the list inside the actual Creative Cloud.  It use to be there but is not there any longer.

    Yes, I know.

Just confirming that your second possibility (any possibility of Adobe deciding not to include LR in the Cloud) will not come to pass.

John, I am hopeful that Lightroom will be a part of the creative Cloud very soon. It is kind of odd that thye deleted Lightroom coming soon from the creative cloud list but still list Creative Cloud Connection coming soon. I am hopeful that means Adobe is working now to include Lightroom. Guess we jsut have to wait and see.

Yes, but the elephant in the room is when?

So many people are waiting for it and their LR Trial version has expired.

Adobe needs to be more open in their communication. I can understand not saying it will be released on June XX, 2012 because they are still working the bugs out. However if they would just keep us updated as to what is going on and what the delay is I think that would satisfy many people. It would me.

It can be simple, somthing like:

"Lightroom 4 ( or/and Creative Cloud Connection) cannot be included until we fix a bug or clear this hurdle etc."

Just update us. That won't satisfy everyone but at least we can have some idea!

I see LR 4.1 is now listed in the downloadable apps in the application manager. I own LR4 as a standalone app, is there any reason to download the cloud version??

If you are running Windows XP you will not see Lightroom on the Apps & Services page (https://creative.adobe.com/apps), or in the Adobe Application Manager. This is per the Tech Specs here http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop-lightroom/tech-specs.html

Again, can Adobe include a simple note in the Apps & Services page or the AAM advising confused users of this fact?

Better than expecting them to know that they have to dig around in the footnotes (Tech Specs) to find out why they cannot see it.
