You can extract pages with Adobe Acrobat, not Adobe Reader.

You can download the trial version at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/tdrc/index.cfm?product=acrobat_pro&loc=e n . Keep in mind the trial expires after 30 days then you will have to buy it.
