The library content was limited with CS6. This is not the full version. For full version, follow the following steps:

    Go to http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html

There you have "Download extra library content" under Additional Solution.

Download the zip file for the desired language, extract that and point the library to that folder from Encore Preferences.

    -Thanks,

    Ramesh.

What did you get when you extracted the zip file?

What is the size of the Content you have after download? Open the folder of the downloaded content and see if there are any buttons/images in the content.

Make sure on this link http://helpx.adobe.com/x-productkb/multi/library-functional-content-mi ssing.html you scroll down to the bottom of the page and follow the instructions -

    I have done this ...

But what is "this"? Many of us had trouble getting this straight: the "this" that gives  you buttons, etc is after "Additional Solution: Install the Resource Central library content." That is where Ramesh is referring to "extra library content."

The solution at the top installs the "functional content" (templates only). The "additional solution" toward the bottom installs all the content, including buttons etc.

Encore CS6 is a 64 bit application and 5.5 was 32 bit. You must be looking into Program Files (x86). And also, CS6 will go to the path which you provided to the installer while installing. Did you change the path while installing? If yes, navigate to that path.

For example I have my Encore CS6 at        C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6           on my win 7 machine.

What you can do is, you can copy the Library folder and paste it at  C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6  (in my case, Encore is here). And then point the Library to this path from the preferences.

Or you can simply point the Library to this folder wherever it is now.

To point your Library to the folder, do the following:

    1. Edit->Preferences... (Encore->Preferences... on Mac)

    2. Go to Media tab

    3. There the first rectangular partition allows you to browse to the Library folder.

    4. Browse to the Library folder and click OK.

    -Ramesh.

You are looking in "program files (x86)." Look in "program files" without the x86. The x86 are 32 bit. Encore is now 64 bit.

To extract the .7z file you can download a .7z extractor from - http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

Use this tool to extract your .7z file to any location you want.

    Now, Launch Encore 6.0

    Goto - Edit -->Preferences-->Media

The first text box shows the location of the library files.

Click on the browse button next to it and browse to the location of the library folder in the files you have just extracted.

As you did before, please post a windows explorer screenshot of your extracted library location.

Glad you are back from the hospital!

When you will extract the .7z file you will get a folder for example en-US if you have downloaded the English functional content. In this folder you will have subfolders namely - Library, main, Styles, Template.Remove your earlier copied files completely from Adobe/Adobe Encore CS6/library and copy these subfolders  to the following location -

    C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6

Now, launch Encore and goto Edit->Preferences->Media

The firat text box is the location of the library.Click on the browse button to navigate to C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Encore CS6\Library

Clickon OK.Your library files will be loaded.

    Thanks,

    Shuchi

Glad you got the library working!

3 method for playing single chapters and returning to menu.

    1) Make the chapters their own videos. For a "play all" use a playlist.

    2) Put each chapter into its own CHAPTER playlist. A chapter button links to the chapter playlist.

    3) Use overrides; this can be problematic, and most helpers here do not recommend this since chapter playlists have been added.
