Wrong number of open documents

Jun 22, 2012 7:03 AM

I have Adobe reader 7 as long ago as the system "thinks" there is still one or more open documents while this is not the case. This also makes uninstalling Adobe Reader impossible because the system announces "Close open files and try again." What should I do?

On Windows you can also use the Task Manager's Processes tab to close any AcroRd32.exe processes running in the background.
