raw images are not opening in photoshopcs5 nor tiffs with light room adjustment from lightroom3. need help have client dead line for today and monday..please help. thank you nancy

The raw images you're talking about, what camera are they from? Which version of Photoshop are you using?

Can you try to open them wih Camera Raw in Bridge CS5?

In Bridge, select the files, right-click and choose Open in Camera Raw...

its also the tiff files that were converted in lightroom...I get the dialogue box asking if want to open copy with edits, with out edits or original...raw wont open nor edits with lightroom adjustments..but the tiff yes.

yes raw opens in bridge...and i reinstalled the software and downloaded the latest version

Nancy, I would suggest removing the Lightroom Preference file next. Do this with Lightroom closed, you can find them here

Oh and which OS?

i have also closed down restarted computer...problem persists....went to two new images clicked to open them as layers in photoshop, this opened the program photoshop but the images did not open up...

adobe support wont help me unless its lightroom 4...i cant do update this week cant risk my plugins not working

That is Lightroom 3.6 and ACR 6.7?
Have you found the preference file? It is in the same place as LR4.

okay found hidden library place plist on to desk top restared lightroom 3 reloaded library, problem persists

There is a solution for this but I'm having difficulty recalling it Nancy, sorry but I have to leave for a few hours now and it's nearly 6.00 am Saturday here. Ask over at Lightroomforums.net there is great help there from experts.

I am too tired to go through all this again with an other forum, I also do not have the time, I must hand in my images monday morning...I will wait till you get back to me...it 8pm brussels time..I will continue working in capture one in the mean time... and hope you can find the answer...thank you for you help. sincerley
