All the content on my site is in <section>tags and everything fits beatifully except this form (meaning there is no height set in the css for the sections) and only on firefox. Has anyone else run into this? It is cutting off the submit button which makes the form useless in firefox.
Did you use FormsCentral's Embed feature to embed your form in your site's HTML page? To ensure the form is correctly embedded in your web page, you'll need to let the FormsCentral generate the embed code for you. To do that, please go to the Distribute tab, and click the Embed button in the Web Form section. A pop-up dialog will be shown to let you pick the embed form options. Once you have the options you want, click Copy, which copies the embed code into your computer's clipboard. Then you can paste the code into your own web page.
This document (http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-1991) explains some common problems we have ever seen in our custimer support cases for embedding FormsCentral Forms. Please take a look. I hope it'll help you a bit.
Unfortunately the page is not online yet and exists in Dreamweaver only. However, I have copied the file to my desktop without the related files and it is doing the same thing. it is onlygetting cut off in firefox and looks great in safari, chrome and IE. I would be happy to email you the html file.
Hello again,
Here is another interesting wrinkle that I just discovered. When I have the form in firefox I can reach the submit button by tabbing through the form. Of course, I still need a fix because most users wont discover this like I have. When I am on the last visible part of the form, if I hit the tab button (because I know there is more down there) it will force my <section> to expand to expose the rest of the form. This seems peculiar only to Mozilla Firefox. Do you know a fix for this?
short answer is, not right now. This form and site is for a guy I am building a site for and hosting it on my shared server and we are not ready to launch yet for other reasons. Is the jist of what you're saying is that the form will work on firefox once its live? I have no Idea what firebox is.
Sorry, I meant firefox. Yes, the embed form should be working fine once the pages are served by a web server. You can try to serve the pages with Windows IIS or Apache server. Or, you can zip those pages and email them to me, so that I can test it on my own web server to verify it is working on Firefox.
