CS6 install issue

My macbook pro won't accept the CS6 install disc. I just recently upgraded to MAC Os X 10.6.8 but it still won't accept it.

My concern is that my processor is not fast enough?

    Which macBook Pro do you own? Is it able to run 10.7?

    Is the CD drive ok?

    Download the the trial version and install this version, if the CD/DVD is damaged it should work as good as the CS/DVD installer with the same serial.
