I am editing a simple stereo audio file, and starting by adding some markers (cues) to the timeline.
For my job, these cues must be in consecutive order across the time line.
I noticed that for the sake of an example: I have 200 cues already marked and forgot to add a marker between the 196 and 197.
Usually I delete from 197 onwards and continue with the marking: 197, 198, 199, 200 and 201 (since now I added another one.
The problem is that for some reason whatsoever, the deleted cues (197-200) are not being used with the new marking...
so I am ending with: 195, 196, 201, 202, 203, 204...
I am forced to completely shut down audition cs6 and restart again.
Can you please advise if this is known and whether I am missing something?
In other words, I need to delete markers/cues and reuse the same deleted marker numbers elsewhere.
Thanks and regards,
Frank Galea
Hi Steve,
I know the CueListTool - however I think that you did not get my point - maybe I am not explaining well.
What I need is to mark the cues in audition while listening to the track.
The real problem is that if I delete a number of cues, the same cue numbers will not be used in subsequent cue markings as if they are still being used (or yet in memory).
This was not the case with Audition 2 & 3 for example that I used for quite a while.
Can you please advise whether you can reproduce this?
By the way, I checked the preferences and did not found any reference to for example:
- deleted cues may not be used!
Looking forward for your feedback.
