button that influences a second button

Hi,

 

I would like that my clickable push-button taken from the common libraries of cs5.5 flash, to make my second clickable push-button, to become depressed as if someone had just pushed the second button. 

 

I want my blue button to be clicked when I click with my mouse my red button.

p.s. I'm doing this because I'm bored and it's too hot outside.

    It is not clear what you really want, but if you want to manipulate the visual states of the buttons, look up the SimpleButton class in the help documentation to see the different states that you can reassign.  For instance, you assign the upState be the downState, etc...  Since you're bored it'll give you something to figure out how to do.

    Thank you Ned, I am going to work on it. I am going to create my blue button with 2 states : up and down. When I press the red one, i will go to and play  to frame(2) wich will represent the down position of the blue button.

    Using movieclips instead of button symbols is probably going to be easier to manage, but you asked about buttons so you got the button version of an answer.
