A/B comparison between tracks

Hi,

In multitrack, I would like to A/B two tracks with a single click. Like a link between two solo/mute buttons with one´s action reversed. For instance I have two copies of a file, each on its own track with other FX-settings and I would like to compare the two instantaniously. So I don´t want to bypass the FX, but toggle between the tracks.

Is this possible and if so, can anyone please tell me how this is done?

solo your A track then hold Ctrl on your keyboard and click solo your B track

You can alter the Solo function in preferences to do this automatically (exclusive mode) - you wouldn't need to use the Ctrl key then.
